This lotion has more of a rich toner's consistency. It is really hydrating and make my skin tone very clean, I like the smell very much. I have sensitive skin, so the lotion did sting my face for the first few times' use. But it goes away pretty quickly and now it doesn't sting at all and calm it down instead. The downside is that the price is quite steep on a toner, and wish it comes in a holiday set as well. Will definitely buy again, but waiting for a good promotion:)
