Valentine’s Day: 3 intimate acts that help you burn calories

Get a great workout in this February 14th by spending more time…in the bedroom.

Not only is love good for boosting your morale, it can help you stay in shape as well. Yes, you read that right! Kissing, cuddling, and having sex all burn calories. This Valentine’s Day, reserve an extra hour or two of alone time for you and your significant other.

KISSING: 3 CALORIES IN ONE MINUTE

Kissing burns 2-3 calories per minute. While that may not seem like a lot, a heavy one hour make-out session will burn 100 calories! Locking lips also gives you a great face workout by working your tongue, mouth and jaw muscles.

A MASSAGE: 100 CALORIES IN 20 MINUTES

If your partner has been begging you for a back rub, February 14th is the day you should finally give in. Valentine’s Day is all about romance, so light some candles, get the body oil out (bonus: it will moisturize your hands while you give the massage!), and show your other half how much you appreciate them. A slow, sensual massage will help you burn around 75 calories in 30 minutes, and an intense massage (one that requires you to use your arm muscles) will burn 100 calories in 20 minutes. HAVING SEX: 150 CALORIES IN 15 MINUTES

Did you know that if you have sex at least twice a week, you can look 6-7 years younger ?
